Girl’s Gotta Do
Painting / photography, Southwark Park, London
Broken roof slate and coloured dust was recycled for the third time in Southwark Park, echoing current paintings that were being made in the studio. Simone Koch, photographer, helped document the work. When the live painting commenced she questioned making the piece right in the middle of the path. We agreed, “a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do”.
The place this happened often held a sense of stillness.
