A performance highlighted the nature of this landfill site and raised fierce debate over the use and ownership of land in Surrey as well as the place of art in public space – and what public space is. This was by colouring part of the exposed rock face on the filled tip and colouring sheep that then grazed in front of the cliff.
Local firemen and a farmer helped with the visual artwork and the Red Lion pub hosted visitors to the event and provided a picnic on this picturesque hill that smelt of methane gas.
