Luna Beauty: A Collaboration

Fashion Photography and Land Art Installation/Exhibition
Laura Alice Hart and Lee Simmons

Exhibition & event

On the nights of 19th and 20th May 2010, Laura Alice Hart and Lee Simmons embarked on a fashion photography and land art collaboration on the bed of the River Thames. Simmons worked by the light of the moon to create abstract, coloured landscapes. These environments were then illuminated and investigated by the fashion team; the model becoming inevitably enchanted by exploring her surreal setting.
Hart’s inspired photography captured these fleeting scenes forever, whilst working against the creeping incoming tide.

The exhibition will contain three elements; the fashion photographs, documentation of the event with fading colours post shoot and traces of the original land art through site-specific installations within the exhibition space.
